Lonsdale’s roots are well and truly in the accounting community, having been formed out of an accounting business in Geelong some 20 years ago. This grounding has ensured that we develop our business around the needs of accounting firms in the first instance, and SMSFs are therefore a clear focus of our network.

Our Associates’ Commitment
A Lonsdale Associate belongs to a network that is committed to providing professional financial planning services to clients.
Associate firms must fulfil the following criteria:
- A full time and committed financial planning resource, dedicated to a full service offer to clients
- Attendance at Professional Development Days and the Annual Conference to ensure compliance with PS146 and FSRA
- Prepare and discuss an annual business plan with your Business Manager as part of the Catalyst program
- Support fellow Associates by way of client referrals and an exchange of information and ideas
- Where appropriate, to utilise and support all Lonsdale business initiatives, such as insurance, our share broking firm and finance and mortgage lending services and growing the network with like-minded practices
