Phil Butterworth
Chief Executive Officer 

Phil oversees group strategy and operations and is heavily involved in industry liaison and negotiation to secure competitively priced products and services for DKN. Phil has more than 14 years financial services industry experience spanning distribution, platform development, dealer services and business implementation within senior roles at Macquarie, Lonsdale and Sealcorp.


Rob Hunwick
Non Executive Director

Rob was appointed Executive Chairman in August 2001. He was a former CEO of Colonial Life, former Managing Director of Tyndall Australia and former partner of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu.

Ken Wright
Non Executive Director

Ken joined the Lonsdale Board in January 2007. He has been a senior finance manager in both financial and transport industries for over 20 years and has been a managing partner at Meagher Howard & Wright (MHW) since 1999. Ken holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Financial Management) and a Master of Commerce (Banking & Finance). He is a Fellow of Certified Practising Accountants, a registered Company Auditor and a qualified Financial Planner.

Mario Modica
Chief Executive Officer

Mario has been the Chief Executive Officer of Lonsdale for over five years, joining the company in July 2000. Mario has been involved in the financial services industry for more than 20 years as a financial planner, dealer group manager, and funds management representative. He holds a Bachelor of Business and Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning.
